    Notion Ink Adam

    2010 - 12.08

I’ve been waiting for almost a year for the Notion Ink Adam to come out. The continual push backs and the criticism of its potential vaporware. Then they put up a binary countdown clock on their page that I’ve been following. It’s now at 1 and their blog says that if you didn’t post in the blog in the past with your name you aren’t part of their family. You know, if I wanted to feel like part of a cult family I’d have just picked up the Apple iPad. Nothings changed no one’s different.

Supreme Commander 2: The Search For Your Money

    2010 - 03.19

… I wish I had downloaded the demo. All the reviews I read said it was great and I bought it on a whim because Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation were some of my favourite games. Upon installing the game it appears it sleeps with Steam all the time. I can occasionally arouse it from its encrypted state as long as it’s not installing some heinously large update and I am connected to the internet 100% of the time. When it does run I don’t understand how it can even be considered a Supreme Commander game. It’s like some one defecated in C# while some evil puppeteer is toying with my childhood like an awful Transformer movie directed by Michael Bay. I personally feel this game isn’t worth money. If I could go back in time I’d assassinate myself before buying this. I will refrain from invoking Godwin’s law at this time.

The question was proposed that maybe the C# compiler couldn’t flush the code?

The Cold War: Apple vs HTC

    2010 - 02.03

Apple is suing HTC over intellectual property. That is to say Apple is suing HTC because Apple owns some patent on some concepts. I can’t really help but make the connection between Apple and SCO. SCO being the company that attempted to sue many companies because of infringement on their intellectual property. SCO was of course was occasionally being backed by Microsoft. Seeing as that Microsoft and Apple are also competitors, and that Microsoft just released its new touch phone, perhaps patent squatting and zeal won’t protect Apple this time. On the other hand, Steve Jobs could just die from his pancreatic cancer already, there by allowing the world to continue to progress in technology instead of barring the US from competition by using the United State’s horrific patent system to protect Apple’s market shares. That kind of reminds me of corn and Monsanto…

    Android

    2009 - 11.10

It (Android) is like the iPhone but I get to choose which carrier to get raped by. Sprint does a good job and kisses me afterward. No reach arounds. I’d have gone with Verizon but they want to bring the whole network…
